
I created this blue tropical-tasting dream after a couple of days of intense traveling. My body was craving something nourishing, soothing and sleep regulating
The star of this smoothie is Blue Majik- a potent source of a certain amino acid that aids the body's production of melatonin, the hormone that helps us go to sleep. Pineapple, apart from it's amazing source of skin healing enzymes and nutrients have shown in studies to increase melatonin markers by 266 percent (!). Bananas are full of potassium, magnesium and tryptophan to stimulate key brain calming hormones
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tsp Blue Majik
- 1 banana
- 1 1/2 dl frozen pineapple
- 2 1/2 dl coconut milk
- 1 dl ice
Mix all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and enjoy immediately
